Mio Ohashi is a contemporary artist who expresses fleeting moments of beauty inspired by her life experiences, including time spent in the Netherlands, the UK, and travels to over 30 countries. Her work draws from nature, architecture, fashion, and scent.

A lifelong painter, Ohashi turned to art as a way to find balance during a busy academic and corporate life. In 2020, during the pandemic and pregnancy, she left her job to become a full-time artist, committed to creating works that bring healing and positivity.

Her abstract paintings are unified by a sense of “quiet strength,” blending boldness with softness through color, texture, and brushwork. As of April 2025, she has delivered over 800 artworks to hotels, offices, and private homes in Japan and abroad.

Ohashi creates with the hope that her art gently accompanies viewers, evoking personal memories and uplifting their spirits.
